Prodecoder Automatic

There is no such thing as a single tool that can open every lock. A universal decoder for these lock types simply cannot exist. The operator must be familiar with the specific double-bit lock they are attempting to open, which means a certain level of locksmith knowledge is required.

These lock-picking tools operate without force. Only a moderate, controlled amount of tension is applied. The tool gradually lifts each lever of the double-bit lock to its precise height, allowing the locking bolt to move forward. This continues until each lever reaches the position that matches the “teeth” of the original key.

In this process, the profile of one half of the key is decoded. To obtain the full double-bit profile, the procedure is repeated for the second half. Once both halves are decoded, you have a complete key profile capable of opening and closing the lock exactly like the original key.

How it works?

When the Prodecoder Automatic is inserted into the Mottura 3×3 lock, the tool begins the process of mechanically reproducing the geometry of the original key. Through controlled tension and sequential lever manipulation, the decoder’s pins gradually assume the precise positions dictated by the lock’s internal code. Once the pins have fully adopted this “original key” configuration, the internal alignment matches that of a genuine key, allowing the lock to open smoothly and without damage.

1. Turbo wheel – when you turn the turbo wheel you cause movement of the pins. This is the main operational wheel.

2. Tension wheel – by giving (and holding) the tension to the left and to the right, you are turning the turbo wheel. This is how you cause traction between the pins and the respective plates (levers) of the lock. This is the main methodology Prodecoder Automatic uses to work on the self impressioning method.

General information for the tool

There is no such thing as “one tool to open EVERY lock”. Hence, universal tool cannot exist with this types ! The operator must know the Double Bit Lock he tries to open. Hence some locksmith knowledge is required.

These lockpick tools work with NO FORCE. You apply medium amount of tension. The tool will lift each of the levers of the Double Bit Lock to a specific height. And this allows the locking bolt to move forward. This happens until it “assumes” the position corresponding to that of the “teeth” of the original key. In this way the profile of a half of the key is obtained. To obtain the other half, it is necessary to repeat the operation for the second half of the profile. At this point you have a complete double bit profile able to open and close the lock exactly like the original key.
