Brexit Import Fees and Taxes
Changes to UK VAT regulations are introduced on 1 January 2021, as this regulatory change is not part of the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement, and applies to shipments being imported into the UK from any country worldwide. Our UK customers will NOT pay VAT on our checkout page, however they WILL pay the VAT on importation in the UK, according to the rules and regulations of Great Britain (between 20 % – 25% on the total amount declared).
On the invoices we issue, we declare the the products are of Bulgarian Preferential Origin (part of EU).
Alegro Prodecoder Ltd. is unable to predict the fees and cannot calculate or collect these fees or taxes!
All of our products are shipped from Bulgaria, part of the European Union (EU). When packages are shipped to NON – EU countries, they may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination.
You are responsible with ensuring to comply with laws and regulations of the country of destination. Alegro Prodecoder Ltd. does not have any responsibility on these additional charges that may apply.
Generally, buyers pay the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Import charges can vary widely but are most commonly based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.
Alegro Prodecoder Ltd. is unable to predict which of these fees, if any, will be applied, and cannot calculate or collect these fees or taxes.
