The Prodecoder Automatic Securemme Securmap 4×4 is designed specifically to open and decode the Securemme Securmap 4×4 double-bit lever lock.

Because this Prodecoder model is engineered for the Securemme Securmap 4×4 double-bit mechanism, its construction mirrors the internal structure of the lock. The tool features a blade equipped with two cassettes, each containing individual pins—four pins per cassette in this version. These cassettes are connected to the back wheel through a pumper mechanism.

The operating principle is as follows: when you start pumping (turning the back wheel), the pumper advances and transmits motion to the cassettes. The pins then press against the levers inside the lock. As the levers respond, the pins gradually align according to the lock’s unique code. This process continues until the tool “assumes” the precise positions corresponding to the original key’s teeth.

This tool operates in a non-destructive manner. Every Prodecoder Automatic is designed for a specific lock type—in this case the Securemme Securmap—or for locks with identical internal dimensions. The internal measurements of the lock (matching those of the original key) are essential: the number of levers and the spacing between them must be known before using any lockpicking tool, and the Prodecoder Automatic is no exception.

Remove the "Bulge"

The first step of the opening is to remove the "bulge" . This bulge stands on the entrance of the lock hole. With the help of the Bulge Eraser this happens quite fast and really easy. You just insert the tool in the correct position and depth. After that you just start turning it until both bulges are removed. You remove both the front plane and the back plane. After this procedure is done the bulge is gone (on both front and back planes). But the plates of the lock remain untouched. This leaves it in the exact same condition - brand new. Please note that with Prodecoder Automatic we perform ONLY non-disruptive opening

Prodecoder Automatic Components

Prodecoder Automatic has 2 main wheels and 2 additional small tension handles:

– Turbo wheel – when you turn the turbo wheel you cause movement of the pins. This is the main operational wheel.

– Tension wheel – by giving tension to the left and then to the right, and by holding this tension while we are turning the turbo wheeL. This cause traction between the pins and the respective plates (levers) of the lock. This is the main methodology Prodecoder Automatic uses to work on the self impressioning method. The wheel has two stop points to remind the operator that a progressive opening must be performed.

– Small tension handles- these two can be easily screwed on the Tension wheel (2). Their purpose is for convenience. With them the operation is much easier as they have amazing grip with your hand and you are able to feel the tension of the levers.

Reset the tool

Prodecoder Automatic has very simple reset procedure we must perform before every opening: Turn the Turbo wheel all the way to the RIGHT. That way you put the pins in their correct position With the Reset tool in the box, reset all pins through the 4 + 4 small holes . They are on the 2 cassettes. These holes correspond to the pins and they must be put in zero position. The decoder is ready and you can insert it inside the lock and the opening procedure may begin
