About the lock and its "traps"

Securemme Securmap with 6×6 lock is well protected with a “bulge” on the front plate. This prevents for any lock-picking tool to be inserted. This is why the key has cuts on the top and on the bottom of the key. Hence the first step of the opening is to remove it with the Power tool included in the kit. This does NOT damage the lock in any way. It simply makes the opening possible. The other obstacle that prevents the opening is the “dead fake” plate. So, the next logical step is to locate the “fake” plate which can brake your tool. In simple words, one (1) of the six (6) active plates is a “dead” one. And its there to break your tool and to prevent the ejection out of the lock after you make the first turn. And this applies for all 4 turns.

Securemme Securmap 6 x 6 Prodecoder Automatic offers non disruptive way of opening. But we overcome all traps of the lock. The first step is to remove the “bulge”. Then we locate visually the “fake” plate and adjust the corresponding pin so that we don’t brake it. After that we simply make the first turn. Then we read the code with the reading card provided. Aftermaths we set the fixed pins accordingly. The process is not difficult, you simply follow the steps which are well explained in the instructions video.

How it works

When you insert the Prodecoder Automatic inside the Securemme Securemap 6×6 lock, it allows the shape of the original key to be reconstructed. After that, the pins take the original “shape” of the key, and the lock opens.

1. Turbo wheel – when you turn the turbo wheel you cause movement of the pins. This is the main operational wheel.

2. Tension wheel – by giving (and holding) the tension to the left and to the right, you are turning the turbo wheel. This is how you cause traction between the pins and the respective plates (levers) of the lock. This is the main methodology Prodecoder Automatic uses to work on the self impressioning method.

General information for the Prodecoder Automatic

There is no such thing as “one tool to open EVERY lock”. Hence, universal tool cannot exist with this types ! The operator must know the Double Bit Lock he tries to open. Hence some locksmith knowledge is required.

These lockpick tools work with NO FORCE. You apply medium amount of tension. The tool will lift each of the levers of the Double Bit Lock to a specific height. And this allows the locking bolt to move forward. This happens until it “assumes” the position corresponding to that of the “teeth” of the original key. In this way the profile of a half of the key is obtained. To obtain the other half, it is necessary to repeat the operation for the second half of the profile. At this point you have a complete double bit profile able to open and close the lock exactly like the original key.
