Yale 1000/1500 Decoder with 6 independent sliding pins is the first locksmith tool from a new series of decoders we will put under the name “Topolino”. This new version of Prodecoder is an innovative new professional locksmith decoder. And we made it specially for Dimple locks Yale 1000/1500. This Yale 1000/ 1500 Decoder works on an automatic self impressioning way. It is very fast and causes no damage on the Yale 1000/1500 locks.

With the Yale Decoder, you can first read the code and, as a result, make a duplicate key after you open the lock. Once we ship it, the decoder arrives fully ready for use, so you don’t need to adjust the tool or any of its components. Instead, you simply watch your personalized video and carefully learn the opening procedure. An important factor is the direction of the tension—only to the RIGHT, exactly as shown in the video—and the amount of tension you apply. Always remember that this is not a force tool.

Preparation and reset of the pins

Insert the blade of the Topolino into the Reset Cap , the two arrows must match their position (watch the video). Slide back the Slider. Reset with the Reset reset hex key ALL 6 pins (push them all the way in). Slide to the front the slider. The decoder is ready to be used.

General information for the TOPOLINO decoder

There is no tool that can open every lock. Because of that, a universal tool for these mechanisms cannot exist. The operator must know the specific cylinder lock he wants to open. Some locksmith knowledge is required.

These lockpick tools work with no force. You apply only moderate tension. The tool lifts each pin of the cylinder to its correct height. It continues until every pin reaches the position of the original key. In this way, the tool forms the full key profile. Once this happens, you get a double-bit profile that opens and closes the lock just like the real key.

Because the TOPOLINO decoder is purpose-designed for emergency opening of MTL Breaksecure 3DS cylinder locks, its construction and dimensions match that model precisely. The pick features a blade with six precision pins arranged in the exact sequence required for this lock — see the product video for details. The assembly is secured with bolts: do not tighten, loosen, or otherwise tamper with these bolts, as doing so will permanently impair the tool’s decoding and opening performance.
