Topolino Decoder for lock model YL6

The Yale YL6 Decoder with six independent sliding pins is a locksmith tool from the Topolino series. This new Prodecoder version offers an innovative and fully professional solution. We designed it specifically for the Yale YL6 dimple lock with six pins. Moreover, the decoder works through automatic self-impressioning. It operates very fast and does not damage Yale YL6 locks.

In addition, the YL6 Decoder lets you read the code. As a result, once you open the lock, you can easily make a duplicate key. After we ship it, the decoder arrives ready to use. Therefore, you don’t need to adjust the tool or any of its components. Instead, simply watch your personalized video and follow the opening procedure. A key point is the direction of the tension—only to the left, exactly as shown. Also, apply controlled tension, because this is not a force tool.

The tool then “pumps” each pin of the Yale YL6 to its correct height until it reaches the required depth. Finally, another important advantage is easy maintenance. If a pin breaks or twists, just pull it out and replace it with one of the spare pins in your kit.

Preparation and reset of the pins

First, insert the blade of the Topolino into the Reset Cap, and make sure the two arrows align (watch the video). Then slide the slider back. Next, use the reset hex key to reset all six pins by pushing them fully inward. After that, slide the slider forward again. Now the decoder is ready to use.
