BTV 3×3 is our professional locksmith decoder. And we made it specially for the BTV 3×3 locks. This toolworks on an automatic self impressioning way. It is very fast and causes no damage on the BTV 3×3. With this decoder you can read the code. As a result, after you open the lock, you can make a duplicate key.
After we ship it, the decoder is ready for work. Because of that, you don’t need to further arrange the tool or any of its components. All you need to do is watch your personalized video and learn carefully the opening procedure. Important factor is how you insert it and the tension you are giving. Always keep in mind that this is NOT a force tool
The tool will lift each each lever (plate) of the Double Bit Locks to a specific height in order for the locking bolt to move. Another key point is how easy you can repair any broken or twisted pin – just pull out the broken one and replace it with one of the spare pins provided in your kit.

How it works?

When you insert the Prodecoder Automatic inside the BTV 3×3 lock, it allows the shape of the original key to be reconstructed. After that, the pins take the original “shape” of the key, and the lock opens.

1. Turbo wheel – when you turn the turbo wheel you cause movement of the pins. This is the main operational wheel.

2. Tension wheel – by giving (and holding) the tension to the left and to the right, you are turning the turbo wheel. This is how you cause traction between the pins and the respective plates (levers) of the lock. This is the main methodology Prodecoder Automatic uses to work on the self impressioning method.

General information for the Prodecoder Automatic

There is no such thing as “one tool to open EVERY lock”. Hence, universal tool cannot exist with this types ! The operator must know the Double Bit Lock he tries to open. Hence some locksmith knowledge is required.

These lockpick tools work with NO FORCE. You apply medium amount of tension. The tool will lift each of the levers of the Double Bit Lock to a specific height. And this allows the locking bolt to move forward. This happens until it “assumes” the position corresponding to that of the “teeth” of the original key. In this way the profile of a half of the key is obtained. To obtain the other half, it is necessary to repeat the operation for the second half of the profile. At this point you have a complete double bit profile able to open and close the lock exactly like the original key.
